Kelly LeBrock pities her controversial ex-husband Steven Seagal, dubbing him a Hollywood tragedy.\n
\u201cI feel sorry for the man,\u201d the actress, 61, told Page Six in a recent interview of Seagal, who has been accused by many women of sexual misconduct spanning decades.\n
\u201cI think that he\u2019s just a very sad person and he is what I would call a tragedy of Hollywood,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cI believe he was very bullied as a child, very sickly, very weak and I guess people who are treated that way as children end up becoming lost as they age.\n
\u201cI wish him all the best.\u201d\n
The pair were married from 1987 to 1996 and share three children together, daughters Annaliza and Arissa and son Dominic.\n
Seagal, 69, a martial arts instructor-turned-action star, has been mired in controversy for years. In 2018, two woman accused the actor of sexual assault \u2014 one allegedly occurred in 1993 and the other in 2002 \u2014 but both cases fell outside the statute of limitations and no charges were brought against the actor.\n

Eleven other women, including actresses Jenny McCarthy, Portia de Rossi and Julianna Margulies, have also accused the actor of sexual misconduct.\n
He also has Serbian and Russian citizenship and is a staunch supporter of Vladimir Putin. In 2018, he was appointed by Russia as a special envoy for humanitarian ties to the United States.\n
After LeBrock divorced Seagal, she left Hollywood behind to live on a ranch in California\u2019s Santa Ynez Valley.\n
\u201cYou know I was just never impressed with being famous or fabulous,\u201d she told us. \u201cI got up every day and did my job, I didn\u2019t think about being a pretty lady or any of that nonsense. I have never been impressed with myself. I think I\u2019m pretty normal.\u201d\n
LeBrock gained fame for starring in an iconic Pantene commercial.
\nLeBrock got her start as a model and her big break came at age 19 with a 24-page spread in Vogue magazine followed by a contract with Christian Dior and the infamous Pantene commercial in which she intoned, \u201cDon\u2019t hate me because I\u2019m beautiful.\u201d\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t hate it,\u201d she says of the \u201980s ad, which became a pop culture phenomenon. \u201cI just thought it was ridiculous. When I went up for the reading I looked at them and said, \u2018I can\u2019t say that,\u2019 and started walking down the corridor and the woman goes, \u2018You\u2019re here now, why don\u2019t you just say it?\u2019 I said it, and it was tongue-in-cheek.\u201d\n
She went on to star in \u201cThe Woman in Red\u201d opposite Gene Wilder and the John Hughes teen comedy \u201cWeird Science.\u201d After a very lengthy sabbatical, LeBrock is back on screen playing a gangster\u2019s ex-wife in the comedy \u201cTomorrow\u2019s Today,\u201d but she\u2019s not sure she is back in Hollywood to stay.\n
\u201cWho knows, quite honestly, I just want to get married and stay home,\u201d she said. \u201cI have my beautiful grandchildren and they were just here and they\u2019re amazing. My life is very full.\n
