The words were not coming easily.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cDo you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car making love?\u201d\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cYes, I remember,\u201d said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>The husband continued\u2026 \u201cDo you remember when he shoved the shotgun in my face and said, \u2018Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years?&rsquo;\u201d\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cI remember that too,\u201d she replied softly.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>He wiped another tear from his cheek and said\u2026\u201dI would have gotten out today.\u201d\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in their bed.
