The Bell 206 helicopter lifted off from Wall Street Heliport\u2026 and never returned.\n</p><p>Just minutes into the flight, something went terribly wrong.\n</p><p>Witnesses described hearing a sound \u201clike a gunshot in the sky,\u201d followed by a violent spiral. The chopper lurched, tilted nose-down, and began to fall. Then \u2014 a thunderous splash. The aircraft crashed into the Hudson River, near Hoboken, New Jersey.\n</p><p>Six lives. He was one of Europe\u2019s top engineering minds \u2014 the Global CEO of Rail Infrastructure at Siemens Mobility, responsible for some of the most complex rail projects on Earth. His vision helped move millions of people every day.\n</p><p>But on this day, he couldn\u2019t save the six people who mattered most to him.\n</p><h3>Witnesses Were Shaken \u2014 \u201cIt Vanished in Seconds\u201d\n</h3><p>Videos shared online show the aircraft twisting violently as it plummeted. According to the operator, New York Helicopter, he was FAA-certified and experienced.\n</p><p>The company had long touted its commitment to safety \u2014 the Bell 206 model was considered among the most reliable in its class.\n</p><p>But as pieces of the rotor were recovered from the water, and questions mounted about a possible catastrophic mechanical failure, all of that is now under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.\n</p><h3>From Boardrooms to Bedtime Stories \u2014 A Life of Impact Ends Quietly\n</h3><p>Agustin Escobar wasn\u2019t just an executive.
